PPS Based Capacitors for High Temperature
Celem’s team is constantly searching for new materials to supply our customers with added value to our capacitors.
In the recent years Celem faced requests from customers for capacitors which withstand higher temperatures than the standard polypropylene capacitors for special applications.
We tested several materials and achieved the best performance using PPS , Poly Phenylene Sulfide.
PPS, is a plastic dielectric which can withstand working temperatures up to 150°C.
Upon request, these capacitors can be manufactured with UL certified resin resulting in capacitor with copper and UL plastic as a casing.
PPS can be used in many of our capacitors. Please ask about a specific solution.
