Polypropylene-Based capacitors
Most Celem products utilize polypropylene dielectrics, which offer a number of advantages:
- Very low loss angle: tan δ<2x10-4
- Higher power-rating per unit volume
- Enable creation of self-healing capacitors
- Easier to manufacture than mica or ceramic dielectrics and therefore less expensive
