Superior Performance of C-CAP
Celem’s new technology preforms better than previous technology, creating less losses and enabling more kVAr/volume.
Elements of C500T and C700T were used in C-CAP configuration and in C500T and C700T.
The following compares the performance of these elements in C500T / C700T and C-CAP.
C500T 6.3 µF Vs. C-CAP 02 12 6.3 µF (similar elements):
Figure 2, 3 show that at 66 kHz and 500 kVAr C-CAP is 24.5°C cooler than C500T.
Figure 4 shows that even at double the power, 1000 kVAr, the C-CAP is cooler than C500T at 500 kVAr.
The temperature of C-CAP at 66 kHz and 1000 kVAr is lower than that of C500T at 500 kVAr.
C700T 27 µF Vs. C-CAP 05 27 µF (similar elements):
Figure 4,5 show that At 17 kHz and 600 kVAr C-CAP is 19°C cooler than C700T.
Figure 6 shows that even at double the power, 1200 kVAr, the C-CAP is cooler than C700T at 600 kvAr.
The temperature of C-CAP at 17 kHz and 1200 kVAr is lower than that of C700T at 600 kVAr.
